Before I check my whole damn dashboard
I just wanted to remind you that tonight I saw Maria Bamford with Will and Natalie.
And holy fuck.. I don’t even know.. what to say.
Her jokes were fucking hilarious as expected, but the best part was after the show, when I got to meet her and Jackie Kashian.
Strangely, not a lot of people were trying to hang out with them, but that was okay. Because I wasn’t rushed and shit.
Honestly, I can’t really remember everything ‘cause it was just too goddamn exciting.
I do know I told her I was there to give her money. I told her how fucking happy I was that she told the Alicia Keys joke, and that I was “just googling it a week ago, like I GOTTA SEE THIS NOW.” I told her I liked listening to her on a podcast where she talked about getting fired from a bookstore.
I really liked how everytime I said something remotely flattering like that, she laughed really sincerely.
And so I asked what she had for me to buy, and she only had one CD, and she already started opening it to sign it. And she wrote, “Morgan! We know each other! This really happened!”
Fucking goof.
And then I got in a picture with her, Jackie Kashian and Natalie, and that was really nice. To be partially embraced by fucking hilarious people.
It was just awesome, and I already feel terrible that I can’t remember absolutely every second of meeting Maria fucking Bamford. But it was awesome and that’s all I can say.
